New Patient Experience

It has been our experience that before any treatment is rendered (other than emergency services) it is always better and more efficient ,for our patients, that a  diagnosis  be made in order to establish the proper course of treatment. Therefore, the most important service we can provide for you is a thorough diagnosis based on a comprehensive exam.

Our New Patient Experience includes a data gathering appointment and a separate appointment for explanation, education and question answering.

 

EXAM APPOINTMENT:

-One on One patient interview

-Review of medical and dental history

-Educational video presentation

-Soft tissue examination

-Oral cancer screening

-Evaluation of your jaw joints and supporting muscles

-Complete periodontal evaluation  (evaluation of gums and supporting bone)

-Tooth by tooth evaluation

-Analysis of your bite and chewing patterns

-Full mouth radiographic series  ( x-rays)

-Chairside intra-oral photos

-if recommended By Dr. Darmon:

                                -Study Models mounted on jaw simulator

                                -Complete photographic series

 

 

 REVIEW OF FINDINGS   (CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT)  :

After reviewing all of the information gathered at the examination, Dr. Darmon will sit down with you and provide you with a written explanation and, if necessary, a comprehensive treatment plan explaining what steps you need to take to obtain optimum oral health as well as the financial arrangements.  At this time Dr. Darmon can answer any  questions you may have and address any issues with which you are concerned.
